Call me crazy, but suppose the flash forwards are actually from another Earth? I mean Laurel mentioning that Felicity owned an empire in her Earth isn't just mere coincidence is it? It's certainly implausible of her to suddenly own an empire right now.

I know... but in the other timeline JJ becomes the future green arrow... and star city was more or less destroyed...
There is a reason they are showing us the future now... My guess is that William decides to change things that's my only idea and we know time travel is possible... I just wanna know why did the glades get so big and the city was never fixed... there must be a way to advert this so called disaster...

They blatantly ripping off the batman no man's land arc...

It's quite possible but we need to get more information as far as the future goes... it could be a brand new timeline thanks to flashpoint... who knows??? I hate paradox's... unless this is a circular future where was saw it before and everything has to happen the way it's supposed to no matter how you change the past...

I really have no clue how all this is gonna make sense. What I(think I) know is:

They're 20 years in the future
William never sees Felicity or Ollie again(?)
Roy is self-exiled in Lian Yu and Speedy is MIA/dead(?)
Felicity gets her company back(don't even remember what happened with it in the first place)
She's dead and may or may not have set the clues in motion
Dinah still bad and Zoe all growed up

I would guess Felicity is in hiding or faked her death in the future. Unless it's someone who is tech-savy like Curtis
