They don’t have anything to replace the face of their network outside of the Arrowverse. Their grand plan of using Riverdale as a springboard into create multiple sucessful TV shows from it the way Arrow did completely failed. So now they don’t have a plan or since of direction with their network being an embarrassment in ratings more than any other network.

That arrow spin off show looked like trash anyway. The main character was annoying as fukk on arrow and couldn't act anyway so it was bound to fail. HBO Max is about to wipe out the CW Arrowverse.

It’s their longest running and highest rated script show still on the network by far, so they will probably keep it going as long as Grant Gustin wants it to.

They have no breakout shows and no long term plan in place really. That’s not accounting for the fact their ratings are steadily dropping and are depending on Netflix and overseas to keep some shows alive (Riverdale and Dynasty).

I don’t see the CW lasting another 5ish years in its current format if we’re being honest. I see a sell off or rebranding in its future.
