Edit in the reference pic in the book, the black nub is part of the page holder to keep the book open. Anyways this rectangle is so hard because I never moved my elbow to make lines. Book is great and in-depth. How long do I do this exercise? Til I get it right? Or am I going to fast? Is the problem I’m using an easel and not moving the page around?

It wouldn't be bad. But I wouldn't dwell on it. But the longer you work on things the better. It won't hurt to break a sweat. But don't dwell on it.
