it all depends on who is attacking you

some just need to hit circle then x to counter

with the tougher opponents (guys with axes and captains) you need to counter then disarm them.

it also depends on the weapon you have. With the clubs you are slower but you will just need to counter and attack with most enemies.

Who here has mastered combat against multiple enemies in this game?

O= counter


Square = Strike


X = does something but I'm not entirely sure whatever what it does tho.



Combat is basically the same as Arkham/Sleeping Dogs etc

Combat is satisfying in this one but a bit too easy...

I'm easily wiping out 20 guards at a time...Once you get the assassins tomahawk you don't even need to craft or buy another weapon...Only those big green guards with the gold helmets who show up when you're on max wanted have been able to put me down but i figured them out now...

I don't know, fam, but I'm just not into this one. I think it's this Conner dude. How do they just throw Ezio in the bushes?

I'm on sequence 11. I don't like how areas are blurred out. Why couldn't they just put more eagle's nests? And the fact that you gotta buy WOOD and other shyt just to craft things is ridiculous.

How can I get more money? I'm trying to craft items and buy weapons and it's depleting my dolo quick.

And fighting some higher rank soldiers is pissing me off. I try to break their defense and they just fukk me up. How do I take them out? How do you disarm?

if you want to make money you have to trade with trading posts.

also you can make money buy hunting animals and selling them at trading posts.

I've been pressing button mashing through most the game Got all the way to sequence 10 this way.

Went into one of those sections where the guards respawn in Boston. Murdered 300 of them without dying. Returned it and I will never touch it again

I took this piece of shyt back to GameStop soon as I got on the boat and realized that interacting with anyone brought up a brief loading screen before getting into the dialogue of the interaction. It's so PS2.

Just beat it yesterday. Trying to get 100% sync on all of them though was Finished at 89%. I spent the majority of time doing homestead missions only to find that aside from crafting weapons, all you need to do is send caravans filled with bear, beaver, and deer pelts to get paid. Rinse and repeat.
