What do you mean by cyphers?

If you look back... Bet Hip Hop Awards used to have rap cyphers. They started in like 2006 or 2007. By 09 they were the main thing people were checking for. People were going crazy for Mos Def/Black Thought/Eminem cypher in 2009. Another one in 09 was Budden/Nicki Minaj cypher. After that the biggest moments were Shady 2.0 cypher, Good Music Cypher, Slaughterhouse Cypher & TDE Cypher
