I thought the narrative was the summer league was cause for ratings dipping?
That's because it isn't. Besides, breaking down something that was tape delayed hurts the Big 3. It's like wondering why ESPN didn't do And1 highlights when they had their show (and that was crazier because they didn't have a set time for that show and people still watched).Fox Sports is such a terrible partner.
They don't advertise theBig3 constantly on their network, they don't make their sports programs talk about it and analyze it like its a real league.
they are just a shyt partner.

Nah, ESPN/Disney does a better job promoting Egames and TNT did a better job promoting its egames which were delayed than Fox Sports 1 does with the Big3. They don't advertise and cross promote on network. This is a problem the UFC is having with them and MLB as well, they are a terrible partner to the leagues they have signed on with. That's because it isn't. They could promote it better, but it kinda lets you know how far their reach goes. The league itself does a good job promoting it. I've seen them promote on other FS1 games. The Big 3 might be one of their highest viewed shows, but that says a lot about FS1.
Those stations invest way more in EGames because they're tryna hop on that wave as it's taking off.Nah, ESPN/Disney does a better job promoting Egames and TNT did a better job promoting its egames which were delayed than Fox Sports 1 does with the Big3. As for UFC and MLB, they work well with them because in UFC's case, they give them a Saturday night spot on Network TV. They're not about to complain. MLB has been there forever and get play everywhere so they're not worried. FS1 could absolutely do better and they make more mistakes than they should make, but a nation is very loyal to another brand even if they hate it. Breaking through is gonna take a long time and more out of the box thinking
"There's a disconnect. These debate shows are still going on and on about the NBA — which ended a month ago — and there's not enough about MLB which is in the middle of a season," one source told SN. "Jamie would protect those guys if they still wanted to talk NBA. But Jamie is gone."
Another source was equally blunt: "Look, (FS1) airs MLB, UFC and soccer — and all these studio shows ever seem to talk about is the NFL and NBA. They have to reflect what’s actually on FS1 — and what drives ratings."
Said a third source: "These debate shows don't make sense given what’s actually on FS1. It's like they're switching viewers in and out."
Word on the street is some rights holders have already beefed to Fox about their lack of visibility on FS1 studio shows. Look for this situation to change as the debate shows seek to align their topics more with what's best for FS1, rather than the hobbyhorses that TV talent prefer to ride.
The changes are already noticeable. On Tuesday, "Undisputed" led with breakout Yankees star Aaron Judge winning the Home Run Derby. As usual, Bayless worked in a LeBron dis, noting Judge has the "clutch" gene to compete in Derby while King James skips the NBA Slam Dunk Contest.
Again FS1 needs to make a committment to its partners to advertise their shyt. IF you look at FS1 you wouldn't even know when the damn boxing matches come on, or that a UFC, MLS, or any type event is occuring that they broadcast. This is unacceptable and shows you FS1 needs to step it up, or they will lose their content. UFC is already discussing leaving them, MLS might go back to NBC Sports that atleast advetises the soccer it does have heavy and pulls in ratings.I'm talking about Fox in general, not FS1. The crazy thing is that the games get more views than Undisputed. Their A1 show doesn't make a dent on TV. The show that got them the most props (Garbage Time) got deaded. Sure they can talk more about it, but those sports get better promo outside of FS1 for shyt on FS1. For example, ESPN does a better job of letting you know an MLS game is on FS1. I don't know whether the solution is for Skip Bayless and Colin Cowherd to talk about it more when their shows only get but so much attention. The best way they get those sports attention is by sounding wildly uninformed about it, like Doug Gottlieb just did with Adrian Beltre /MLB
