It's simple, it's not being broadcasted live because they don't want to have to compete with any other sunday sports like that which is also why they are starting it now, after the NBA season and most other sports seasons are out of the way. Also 8pm on a Monday allows them for a prime time slot which is when people view tv the most so they have a chance at having more viewership, which equals more eyes on the advertisements, which equals more money and an increased likely hood of them doing this again next year.
