Max not making it out of the 4th inning
he was terrible against the mariners but yiu expect me to believe he going to run thru the goatgers
He had a decent performance against Seattle in Game 4 of the ALCS last week.
In 5,2 innings of work, he walked 4 batters but only allowed 2 runs and 3 hits. He struck out 5 hitters and threw 87 pitches . Not bad for a 41-year old veteran with his best years behind him.
He wasn’t pulled from the mound because he was terrible, but because John Schneider ( the blue jays manager in charge) has a strong tendency to over manage his pitching staff and rely on his bullpen in every game. Under his watch in Toronto, Starters rarely pitch beyond the 6th inning. And it’s like that for most teams in the league. Pitchers playing complete games are less common now than before.
I’m confident that Mad max will go through down your batting order like tissue paper tonight
He will shutdown your bats, Jays will win game 3.
