Santander is done for the season, he hasn’t played since game 5 of the ALCS because of back pain and shoulder injuries . That’s why he wasn’t included in the official world series roster anyway, and if he was even healthy enough to Play, he would only be used as a switch hitter bench bat designated hitter/ pinch hitter. He would not have played in the outfield at all . He’s better with the bat than with the glove anyway.
Waiting for news to confirm it, but I believe Springer might be out and done for the season. He was Half functional and playing at 50% capacity already . His knee is still hurting. He can’t play in the outfield anymore, defensive duties are too physically exhausting and demanding for him at his age. So he can only be useful and dangerous at the plate and on the bases. We need his ability to hit for power and contact, draw walks and get on bases.
Bichette playing at 50% capacity. He’s obviously Still recovering from his knee injury. His mobility and ability to make turns and make defensive plays on the infield is still very limited. At best he can only be useful as a pinch hitter, designated hitter or bench right handed bat. He can only halfway contribute on the offensive side of the game- I mean, he can swing and hit but he can’t run the bases like he used to. He needs a pinch runner to run the bases for him.
