Yea Vanessa got the look but can't lie Latoya Luckett impressed me with her acting in that scene. She got skills.

She had that 90's, 40 year-old, 2nd Aunt Viv look down pat.

That Latina detective should be written up for work avoidance. I'm sure there are many cases to be worked on in a city as big as NYC. In reality, she'd get reprimanded for all this Nancy Drew shyt.

it's not that egregious when you look at all the dumb shiit they doing overall. Hiding a body in the wall. Spraying air freshener to cover the odor. Bringing Worrell into the fold. Trusting Unique is out the mix. Sending a green kid to kill a cop. Moving work in another state and have no network.

Look, I’m watching so I’m not saying it’s a bad show. But for the people who are saying this season is great and this is the best Power show. Do you mind sharing what makes this show really good to you?

Season one was a slow burn but I’m enjoying this season

I like the dialogue, cinematography, storytelling, pace, characterization even tho Kanan has been the weakest, wardrobing, acting is better

Like someone said that scene where Scrap gets killed and Lou eases out the room with Marvin crying was one of the best scenes in the whole Power universe

Tariq got the best power spin off imo , then kanan then tommy(last 5 episodes were good season 2 probably be better)

Since it’s been established that Raq is a liar, does anyone else think she possibly lied to Kanan about Marv being on crack prior? Literally no one else in the show has confirmed it. Not Lou, not scrap , not unique, not Omar Epps etc… feel like someone else would of bought it up even if it was some slick one liner shyt

The acting/casting by far is the best out of all the spin-offs.

Force is a bad show from what I’ve seen so far….this has better acting/story/characters… it isn’t great but out of the 3 current shows its 2nd to ghost


Had to force myself to watch the Tariq shyt but it got better towards the end with the connnections to the og power
