I'm rooting for Rex Ryan to turn the Bills around.
Buffalo was 4th in Total Defense last year and I would expect them to be solid on that front this year with Rex.
Unfortunately it looks like Rex is in the same situation he was in New York -- he's got a defense he can win with. But he's got no QB to lead the way. I don't know that Matt Cassel is the guy.
Sammy Watkins could easily be a 100-reception WR. And maybe he will be in his 2nd season.
Percy Harvin is the #2 guy but he's always an injury factor and frankly...he's probably best used as a Slot WR.
I think they have a great RB set up if they use Fred Jackson as the power guy...occasionally spelling LeSean McCoy.
Charles Clay was a solid TE with Miami and might rank in the top 10 this year in TE receptions.
In the draft, Buffalo took (CB) Ronald Darby out of FSU in the 2nd round. Then took (OG) John Miller out of Louisville in the 3rd.
Miller figures to start at Right Guard while Darby will take a while to work himself into the mix.
Buffalo starts the season with the following games -- and it won't be easy:
Week 1 - Indianapolis
Week 2 - New England
Week 3 - Miami
Week 4 - New York Giants
Week 5 - Tennessee
Week 6 - Cincinnati
Week 7 - Jacksonville
Week 8 - BYE
Maybe they beat New England without Tom Brady...and probably Tennessee and Jacksonville, so a 3-4 start wouldn't be terrible.
Rex is gonna have to draft a QB in 2016 though. I don't see any way around it.
