anyone live or been to the mojave desert cities of lancaster and palmdale

me and my girl has finally decided to get a place outside of the city....... pasadena was on our list as well

I been out there, Lancaster and Palmdale are cool except for the fact that nikkas moved out there to get away from the gangs in the city and brought that gang shyt with them.

I had a dream the other day that I was in Oakland. And in the dream I said something to the effect of "I can't believe finally made it to California!!!! " and I was in the East Oakland Hills, and I could see the hilly neighborhoods of SF from where I was, and alot of the homes and urban areas on those hills emitted a great light, and I think I could see some Redwoods. It was beautiful. Than I woke up, and I was disappointed. I have to make that trip...
