All they really care about is spiting liberals. Whether or not a policy is rational or ethical is irrelevant as long as it pisses off Democrats.

The best part of this whole mess is the air quality here is the best I've ever seen it since I was a kid. We have the worst air quality in the nation, but lately the air has been great. We can actually see the mountains everyday now. I'm having a great time pointing it out to all the conservative idiots that Global Warming is real and they can't deny it right now.
