my highschool prolly got 10 brushes outta me from back in the days
nikka stayed in class brushing

lil tip- everymorning and night brush your hair with a plastic bag that static gone make yo shyt lay down right
also i didnt wear durags only in the morning gettin ready for school/work

i had waves all through high school and college and got tired of it. The maintenance and wearing the durag at night got weak. Its the default hairstyle for young black men and IMO is played out.

I decided to grow a Denzel in American Gangster afro. Get me a militant look going now

I hopped on the wave game two years ago. Head is spinning. No need for the 360 grease after yours are established I say. Once mine were set they were set. I just brush and use light raw shea butter. Wash my hair every third day and I am good.

I dont durag like im supposed to tho. Got a cruise and a vegas trip all within 30 days. I need to make sure I am right.


I will never forget when I started the wave journey two years ago. I worked hard to get them right for my 1st Vegas trip. Shiiiit I duraged thru the TSA

Got to Vegas. . Spent time in the hotel mirror getting them symmetrical. We go to club Haze. I see this janitor. . .He is like 55. . Hair all white. . And this nikka head was like

I just made a thread on this. Real talk I don't see too many 360s anymore. I see dreads, light Caesars and even dudes rocking unkempt mini fros. At the end of the day as long as you have a good edge up you should be able to eat.

Seriously with this. I dont maintain my durag at night like I used too. Maybe once or twice a week. But my waves have not regressed at all. Brush for 5 minutes in the morning. Add water and light shea butter and I walk out of the house dizzy cause I am spinning so hard.

I will make sure to give them extra attention for my trips coming up soon. But other than that I am good. And aiyo. You should not need that 360 stuff if your waves are already in. Just maintain.

What brush are yall using? I copped most of my knowledge from the OG Wave thread on Somebody stated they use this brush and I have ordered it from Amazon multiple times. Works good for me. . Wondered what yall use.
