On an unrelated note, I been growing my hair since last February and just cut it all off and got a fade on Saturday. I brushed my hair once and I started getting waves back.

You do not brush your sides straight down. That could be your issue. You brush them from an angle starting from your crown. The back is what you brush down.OKay, but how do you brush your sides and back?
Vertical, horizontal, etc.
I also have coarse hair, so I get ripples within a couple of days.

Pro tip: the actual pomade is the equivalent of natural Murray’s. U only need that when your wolfin wolfin. The wave & scalp butter is better for everything else
What do you guys mean "you gotta find your crown" isn't that easy to find? Isn't it just this part of your head?

Brushking got hands down the best brushes on the market.
The bristles don't be all out of whack after a couple weeks of use & it's real boar bristles non of that plastic crap.

Probably just use 2 mirrors to take a look on a day you haven't brushed, assuming you don't have waves yet. You should be able to see where your crown is centered.
Yeach, I do/did that, but it didn't wave up an sometimes a line would appear there also.
It's all good, ima stick with the 180 waves.
I mean the waves not gonna immediately pop up lol. You still have to train your sides. It took a while to get my sides.
fukked up thing is that I couldn’t get waves for shyt on the sides no matter what. I started getting waves when I was brushing my sides down, but my waves were fukkin straight when they needed to be slanted.
idk why I couldn’t get waves brushing on an angle.
