:ohhh: just seen the game. Was a good combo at the end. Didnt see that coming. The whole game was closed but when it opened up things were hanging. I think @who_better_than_me hindsight is 50 50 but you were ahead in your plans to raid kingside. The only thing was the discovery openings on your rooks position once white pushed a pawn. I think you could have resolved that while also getting your knight to not be a target by playing it from F to the E file blockading his pawn. And completely shutting down his possible movements. Then proceeding with your plan. I think the term is prophylaxis.

Anyway it was an interesting game tactically. I had peeped @luciddreamer games and had a sense he might make it.
@who_better_than_me you should aside from the 3rd place game play @Tha Gawd Amen on the side. Not as part of the coli tournament. I seen his game log and it might be a good game. But :salute: for this game y'all played

Lol sad thing about that game is I saw his previous game and planned that. I was exactly where I wanted to be until I was rushing(on my break at work) and recapture hai knight with my lawn instead of my queen. I read the report and it only showed one blunder. I played this o y he work computer Andy coworkers were watching the game and them too were excited. They kept saying rematch but I told them it was tournament.
Somebody said we should do a tour want like the real ones with points where even though you lose you don’t get eliminated but still keep playing matches and first place is decided upon points.
I felt good about that match but eh was the bette player In the end.

and that shyt a rapid to me cuz I mostly play classically chess but I was excited to do this because it forces me to think.

@Blackrogue The discovery on the rook was takened into account. I’m aggressive player so that trade off didn’t mean much to me. I saw it but I messed up the move after against with the knight recapture. I should’ve recaptured with the bishop and pushed the pawn to attack the rook. I was getting all my main pieces in front of his king to mount an attack so the rook being capture wasn’t a big deal(imo based on how I play).


Man I was hoping for that championship match especially when I seen you use that Scandinavian defense. Man I had something prepped for that.
