Plus we drafted PJ Williams and Swann last year. PJ remains to be seen he could take the nickel. Swann played very well but kept getting concussions. Breaux is in there.

Let's see if K.Lew can remain healthy. The issues you see at corner have more to do with a non existent pass rush/and little to no push up the middle. Fix your DLine and your corners will be much better in coverage.

Also #39 Defensive Holding is no longer on the team. Letting #39 defensive holding go improves the secondary as #39 defensive holding was the opposing teams best player every week.

#39 :pacspit:being off the team frees up money as well, we move some shyt around with breezus :blessed::lawd: and we'll have more room to pursue free agents, i wouldn't mind trading some of our late round draft picks as well.

seeing how said #39 :snoop: will no longer grant automatic first downs this season breaux can do his thing and only get bettter

Rankins. We definitely need help in the middle of the d-line. One of the reason why we suck in the passing game we don't create any pressure in the middle. Rankins would occupy the middle and should freed up Cam and KiKi on the edge.

Apple is cool but I think we could afford to wait at latest third round of a CB. If Westbank stays healthy we got a nice duo of him and Breaux.

Strengths
Quick to diagnose and flow to the ball. Has unusual ability to find the most efficient routes to the ball. Has athleticism and flexibility to contort his body and succeed through difficult tackle angles. Plays with loose hips, quick feet and desired agility of an NFL weak-side linebacker. Former high school quarterback with the change of direction and speed to be a rangy playmaker. Comfortable in space and excels there. Has plus man cover talent. Willing to stand in and take on blockers with a leveraged strike if his gap is being threatened. Capable gap blitzer with ability to get skinny through the holes.

Weaknesses
Smallish linebacker. Play strength doesn't come close to matching puffed up listed weight. Balance issues at point of attack could plague him over his NFL career. Has the body type of a big safety. Tape shows few authoritative tackles. Involved in too many arm and shoestring tackles. Comes flying in and fails to come to balance at times. Charged with 21 missed and five broken tackles over the last two seasons. Always at size disadvantage and will have to learn to slip more blocks. Can get better at finding targets in zone coverage.
