Randy Gregory

The more I've watched Mariota, the less I want him. Not sold on him being a superstar QB. So I'd rather go with the best pass rusher available. And that's Gregory.

In terms of pure pass rushing, Gregory is the best in the draft. He's got an explosive 1st step and a wide array of moves to beat you with. Only knock on him is his weight. But the reason he weighed so low was due to an illness that caused him to lose weight. He normally plays around 245-250, which is fine for. A 3-4 OLB.

All we need to upgrade for our defense is a pass rusher. After getting a dominant one like Gregory, our D is complete

im going with kevin white. dont believe enough in mariota and im kind of tired of taking defense in the first round. i dont want another vernon gholston or dwayne robertson. white can learn from b marsh and become a weapon we can have for years to come along with amaro. just my opinion.

But with the draft five weeks away, the former Nebraska star suddenly has another issue to address: He tested positive for marijuana at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

Gregory revealed the positive test to NFL Media on Wednesday afternoon in an interview at his agent's home office in suburban Atlanta.

"I blame myself," Gregory said. "And I know it sounds cliché, but there's really no one else I can blame."

Gregory officially learned of his failed test about two weeks ago, during a phone call with his father. Believing he had received a letter from the NFL inviting him to attend the draft, Gregory asked his father to open the envelope. It wasn't a draft invitation.

"It said I failed a drug test," he said

can we get a trade the pick option??? If Gurley was healthy, I don't think he'd make pass them. No idea what the hell they need either

Mariota should at the very least be better than Smith...we need a POSSIBLE QB we can build with.

This has been the problem with the jets since the Rex Ryan era...everything else is taken care of and just throw whoever out there at QB. Backward ass franchise :snoop:

We need a QB, Geno has shown flashes, but I still don't believe in him.

honestly i wouldnt be upset if they took mariota but the more i read about him im just like meh. in a dream world they would take him and he would become the savior franchise guy we been waiting for but im a jets fan and we kind of known for draft busts. white seems like more of a sure thing on the offensive side of the ball but then again im far from an expert.

Dupree, White or Mariotta. Id consider La'el Collins too.

Gregory tested positive for pot at the combine, so he's out
