I'm just not in the Mariotta camp.
From what I've seen of him, when his first read is taken his mobility takes him to his second read. He's not a first year starter in this league.
And I simply don't know what Geno is capable of due to so much incapability around him. Most of the people that say its all on Geno don't watch coaches film. He didn't make a boatload of poor decisions last season other than the coaching staff forcing Percy Harvin into the game plan 4 days after trading for him.

Don't overthink this Jets fans. Why reach for Mariotta when the best WR in the draft is on the board? He will be a dominant red zone threat and open the offense up for every other player.

The depth of beta in this post is just sad.A team like my Jets have nothing to lose by gambling on a franchise QB. Mariota should be the pick here. Law of the averages says SOMEBODY has to pan out eventually.
Mariota is not that good, breh. He's solid even if he reaches his peak. Why pass on potentially great players to draft a QB who ain't leading you anywhere?
