Gregory & Ray are tempting but with us going to the 3-4 base I think we go with Shelton and have our NT for the next decade

Shelton was my choice, but I wouldn't be shocked to see us trade down

every draft there is lineman in the top 5-6, but this one aint not a nair one been taken..its bs

2011, the first OL taken was 9th.
2005, the first OL taken was 13.

There's no rule that says an OL has to be taken very early. If the talent doesn't match up with pick value, it doesn't match up.

Tampa is obviously going QB.
Tennessee isn't taking an OL with Williams or Mariota on the board.
Jacksonville just drafted a OL with their 2nd overall pick a couple years ago and have much bigger needs.
Oakland isn't taking an OL over White/Cooper.
Washington will take one of the elite edge rushers over any of the OL.
NYJ will take Mariota, an edge rusher or one of White/Cooper over any of the OL.
Chicago's D is a bigger concern than their OL, and even if they decide to address the O, it will be a WR over a OL.
Atlanta just drafted Jake Matthews and just hired Dan Quinn, so they'll most likely be looking to address their D, especially if one of the elite edge rushers is still on the board.
NYG is probably where you'll see the first OL go. 9th overall. Just like in 2011.

Look at the big board. The top OL talent in this draft is Scherff and he's ranked behind 2 qbs, 2 wrs and 4 OLB/DEs. Whose reaching for him?
