Jarvis Jones is the pick if he's there but I wouldn't mind if they picked Mingo...

Mingo is an athletic freak and we badly need a dynamic edge rusher...

If either one of them dudes ain't there I am all for trading down...

Barkevious Maybin looks like a one trick pony who can't add onto his frame.

Besides, if we've learned anything about Rex during his tenure here, we know that he can't coach projects up for shyt.

If this was Rex he'd take Star Lotulelei and pretend Kenrick Ellis never happened.

He does kind of remind me of Maybin but Ive also watched enough LSU games to see this dude is always around the ball and I like that...Bottomline is we badly need speed especially at the OLB position...Mingo's size is worrisome but he's got the speed and athleticism we need...

I'd take the chance on him...

I agree about his speed, but he's still a guy that needs to develop his game, and I simply don't trust Rex every time he drafts or picks up a project. They never develop. Outside of Kerley, we haven't had a late pick /UDFA /project really pan out.

Where's Biz Markie?

Where's THE GREAT Caleb Schlauderaff?

Where's Kyle Wilson?

Where's Kenrick Ellis?

Where's Joe McKnight?

We know where the Terminator is.

Where's Stephen Hill (oh that's right, Rex didn't wanna claim him)

Most of all, the biggest project of them all, where's Mark Sanchez?

The Jets need a grandslam pick on half the picks they have in this draft, especially with the 9th pick. That guy needs to produce now.

Barkevious Mingo has bulked up to 250, which wouldn't be undersized in our D. Maybin was always around 225-230 in the pros. Which is very undersized. Plus he isn't a quarter of the pass rusher Mingo is.

Put Mingo in our D as a 3-4 OLB, and he will flourish.

Oh, and Jarvis Jones is around the same size as Mingo. Just saying

:laff: at the disrespect of the mods for the Jets pick being the only pick that they haven't stickied so far, even after mentions to them.

:damn:

Bills pick still stickied :russ:

At this stage, how many of these players are actually what we think they are?

It's so dire for the Jets, that if the Jets select a pass rusher, that player needs to be on some Von Miller shyt. If they get a Lotulelei, he better be Haloti Ngata II. The expectations for what we need at 9 will be unrealistically high, not just for round 1, but for every pick, especially since this team seems so ready to trade the best player they've drafted in decades for picks, and not even high ones. The margin of error for Idzik is really small already.
