Overall they dramatically improved the game, so many issues they fixed quickly.

Once these NCAA games are done, I'm going to get back to it but this is definitely, Everything: The Game and some jank is here, moreso than a Bethesda game. However, this game makes a Skyrim or a Starfield feel limited. All of our experiences are going to wildly different. Not saying better than Bethesda games but this is like an onion with infinite layers. So much to peel back and discover. The fighting is fun too.

Something told me to hold off on that Reed fight. Took me 3 tries to beat his ass. That third phase is atrocious. Went through 20+ food items, and low and behold, they increased the health recovery from food items.

The one thing they need to fix is disabling that fukking L3-click grapple during combat.

The latest update crashed my ps5. rebooted. same thing happened. This game is now unplayable.

Edit: I fixed it by changing PS5 Settings resolution to automatic.

This is Medieval GTA mixed with Game of Thrones.

First time I ever fought 100 soldiers in a battle and loved every minuteAction combat is GOAT level.

Crimson Desert spent $133 million on their production budget and didn’t give two shyts about the story

30% drop in revenue. Bugs and shytty control issues.

Would the drop have been so bad if they kept the original story? Probably not.

However, as a result of using the budget to add so much random shyt in the game there is no game like it on the market.

This game is pretty damn good. Story is laughably basic, but there's so much shyt you can do, and it's way more entertaining that I expected. I figured they'd throw everything in here and it would all be lame as a result, but most of the things I've engaged with have been entertaining. I'm also a sucker for some fishing in a non fishing game. Just started chapter 3, and I feel things just opened up way more.

The combat is also much tougher than I expected. I thought I'd be casually blowing through fodder, but these motherfukkers jump the shyt out of you! Also, fukk archers! Hope I get some arrow reflect skill later.
