I must say the load screen sucks and takes too long. Also, horse back riding is not fun like in BOTW or Elden Ring. The roads and towns are so dense, your horse bumps into everyone knocking them down.

Also, making the jump power R3 is dumb as hell. If you dont press it quick enough it doesnt work. I can see myself falling from a mountain if I don't press it quick enough after pressing jump. You need three hands to work these controls.

apparently it gets wavier as you go but its about a 8/10 right now for me anyway 4 or so hours in.

I really hope they listen to feedback and patch some of the more unintiutive shyt out because even though I'm like whatever with it from having to bang my head against fighting games for 30 years, I do think this would be better received by your average open world gamer with a couple small changes.

Anyone playing it on PC have the same opinion about the controls?
Combat controls do take a MINUTE to get used to. You dead ass need a spreadsheet to remember the number of button combinations to execute certain shyt, but that brings more variety. And this aint Spiderman where you can be surrounded by 20 dudes and go untouched. I back pedal to get them somewhat in front of me and handle em 1 or two at a time.

But after 5 hours I'm feeling the joint overall. I normally fly through games, skipping text and info notes, but I'm reading everything, learning the lore.

That ~8 average is about right.

nikka…

Speaking of combat. I thought I was dodging, countering and parrying successfully…but I was still getting hurt. Come to find out they copied Ghosts of Tsushima and locked counter-attack, dodge and dodge after damage behind one skill tree feature each.

That is fukking CRAZY.

shyt I took for granted as intuitive was not intuitive at all. nikka need a science book to understand their logic.

My reddit thread about these controls blowing up.

Seems like your warm up aint work :russ:

But funny slight spoiler story, I was semi AFK while in the main town. After a while I hear the coin sound. I look up, turn Cliff around, and see some mon fukker running. I'm like "Ohhh, shyt, this nukka just G'd me!" I give chase, catch up, and tackle his ass, give him some love taps, and tie him up. Turns out this drug addict has a robbery bounty on him. I turn the scofflaw in for some coinage.

It's this type of random fukkery I love in games.
