Can't wait to see theTJP remix drop.
This dude @stro called him a vanilla midget after watching a tournament with CRUISERWEIGHTS.
He was the only actual vanilla midget in the elite eight, imo. Everyone else had characters or things that made them stand out and connect with crowds. TJP is just a robot going though his spots. Vanilla midget isn't a catch all term for small dudes.

TJP is signed with WWE and Kota Ibushi isn't right? I feel like if it was the other way around Ibushi would've definitely won the tournament. But it wouldn't make sense to have someone win the tournament if they're never going to be seen on WWE tv again.

ZSJ and Ibushi wouldn't sign contracts, so they were never going to win. Metalik DID sign, but doesn't speak English. You aren't going to have old Spanky win it all, and Gargano wasn't going to win since he already has a real storyline in mainline NXT anyway. Swann
. Norm Dar is a little c*nt. Tozawa is what he is, but he was never going to even make it to the finals with Ibushi in it. TJP is the only guy who was used to working US TV matches and can speak fluent English. It wasn't because he was some super great talent, because he wasn't even the better than the guy he beat to qualify.

Spanky could of won. They had a story going with him.
I wouldn't have been mad if he won. Or even made it to the finals. TBH, the CWC was the best work of his career, imo. Especially crazy since he has looked like trash since leaving WWE in 2009 and looked so
when he showed up on NXT for a week or two. Spanky's run as the vet who can't compete physically, but will use everything at his disposal to make up for it and scrap instead of doing signature spots was a great story in the tournament. All of his matches had him doing weird shyt that looked kind of janky, but made 100% sense with the story of his character and run in the tournament. I wish more dudes were comfortable with doing shyt like that; not hitting their signature spots and coming off as guys doing anything to win.
Metallik should've won but I have no problems with Perkins. I had fun during every one of his matches...

Been sleeping on the CWC brehs, haven't had free time to watch much wrasslin besides raw and smackdown. Been catching up tho and congrats to TJ, he been raw. They needa do a global tag team tourney now.
