Dark Side of the Ring wouldn't have done a XPW episode if it wasn't for the Rob Black Messiah incident. There's a lot more they could've covered and they only used a few XPW originals to interview. I know many declined to do the show but I'm sure they could've got a few more. As for Black running for mayor. He's a scumbag so politics would be something he'd pursue but he's too stupid to even get into politics. He tries to sound politically smart on his shytty podcast all the time.

Finally caught up a little and watched 3 eps last night…. The Kanyon, FMW, and XPW eps.
All them shyts was wild.
The Kanyon one is interesting.
I actually met Kanyon years ago when he was in WCW when I was a kid. I even got an autograph from him that I’m sure I still have somewhere around my house. And he was legit a cool guy.
But didn’t know he was that much of a tortured soul….. cuz damn…. He was so fukking friendly
I didn’t really have that much knowledge of FMW, but that was very educational to watch. I would love to see another exploding cage match

I just watched the XPW episode and fukk that shyt is all I can really say 
I had known briefly about XPW when I was younger after seeing it in wrasslin magazines and the internet but I had no idea about the sheer fukkery this place produced. Pornstars fukking everywhere, ultraviolence, dudes getting legit maimed and harmed including a mf getting concussed against his will. That’s not even mentioning the Messiah thumb thing which I’ve even seen suggested was a work. This one felt like a nastier, grimier version of UWF without any of the same charm Herb and that fed had

Ok this is my thoughts as I was deep into the XPW vs CZW wars during this whole time.
I was a big CZW fan but I gave XPW a shot but they honestly sucked. There TV show was poorly produced, the audio sucked, the video sucked, the announcers sucked and besides Kaos, Supreme and that gay wrestler, everyone else wrestled like they was there for the check only. They literally paid big money at the time to take talent away from CZW only for them to do nothing with them. Couple of things they did well was they always had the best PPV names, promotional materials like flyers and their website was top quality for that time and they seem to always have a crowed (they seem quite but I think that's because of there poor audio quality). They did shady shyt like coming to the east coast and leased out the ECW arena for 2 years. This pushed out CZW from running shows there that was their home. They then took Mdogg 20, Brian XL, Jimmy Rave and former CZW champ Justice Pain. CZW ended up getting the Messiah and eventually won the war. XPW did it all wrong when they showed up to the east coast and tired to start a war. Hell they even thew shots at ROH when they were starting off. Rob Black just kept creating enemies....damn I can't believe I remembered all this lol
