It takes away your shadow and reflections for some reason. looks awful
you gotta be a hollow to do one of the game's endings but it's pretty complex so you'll likely skip it for your first playthrough.

dont do it bruh youll regret it, only cowards and females summon for helpis there a way to get help for the last boss, I'm about to throw my pride away and (summons) call for help

heres a tip for the second phase: stay far far far back and he will almost always do his lunging attack, dodge that and you can easily hit him a few times. Repeat. This also lets you avoid his annoying ass fukkin 5hit combo
for his first phase roll TOWARDS him to dodge
Meanwhile, some of these bosses have no problem getting help themselves
