All recent specials from him made me feel the same way, I'm not dying laughing but I'm thoroughly entertained by his stories and how he brings his point home. He's captivating.

it's aite. Older Dave had a more natural way of weaving jokes and stories together with a great comedic timing. It feels like he's forcing all the jokes to come together. Still top tier tho.

Dave hasn't missed a beat. I agree this isn't his best special, but the nuance he has of hitting controversial topics, while not doing it merely for shock value, is unmatched. It takes a special talent to make people uncomfortable yet still make them laugh. I will say his attempts at call backs were much more effective in the LA show than this one (Michael Jackson and shooting up the school at the end).
