To be fair they do have a problem laughing at those jokes. That’s the problem. Their view of humor is that making fun of any marginalized group is wrong. I get not denigrating groups with jokes, being a dikk etc. But the jokes they got were light work compared to the fat, skinny, black, Mexican etc jokes over the last 30 years.

They laugh hard as hell when the jokes are about black dysfunction though. They’ll claim it’s because the jokes are coming from black comedians, but whatever.

I enjoyed it, but honestly I hope he’s telling truth and will leave the gay jokes alone going forward. He does a great job with them and they are well written but it’s getting a bit redundant at this point. So much other stuff I’d like to hear him talking about but I respect him for using this special to address all the backlash from the group of Netflix stand ups

Wow that Daphne story was incredible and after I researched it and it turned out it was true. Dave is a master at what he does, the guy takes you on a journey before dropping the punch line. No other comedian crafts a story the way he does. RIP Daphne you was a real nikka.

Dave is like an emcee that drops every so often, where each album is different from the last/other. He does that with his comedy, whenever his next phase is will probably have an entirely different approach . Creatively breh is
