Official Destiny Thread [RISE OF IRON OUT NOW!]

Like I said earlier I didn't burn myself out. There just isn't much to interest me as far as playing on when I sat down and think about it. Is it worth repeating this strike over and over again just for 5+ in vanguard rep?

you say you didnt burn yourself out, but you said you hit 20 quickly...to do that, you had to put some time into the game....cause getting to 20 isnt as easy as you trying to make it....especially if you unlock all the abilities in a sub-class.....

and yea, the missions are worth repeating cause you need to up your vanguard/crucible rank to get access to the good shyt...but cats are trying to grind/farm they way to good shyt, when this game isnt set up like that....not only that, playing this game with others is fun as hell....

with that said: you say the game doesnt keep your interest, that's cool cause it's your opinion....and i'm not trying to change that nor convince you to keep playing....but to come and say the game is not good cause of that, that's where i disagree....

The good thing i'll give Destiny is that it's definitely a game that will help take up the extensive free time that a lot of PS4 gamers currently have due to the gaming drought. On the greener side, the piff is too plentiful to waste time on mediocre games like this breh...real talk.

when people say shyt like this as a negative, it lets me know yall dont get the point of the game....by the time you get access to weekly strikes, you should have met/played with enough people to create a fireteam, which is the whole point of the game...bungie wants cats playing together, not solo...that's why there's no match making for the raid, weekly strikes, and daily strikes....they want cats to play together, but cats refusing to do that and then blame the game lol...

...all i'm saying is if cats played the game how it was meant to be played, they might find it more enjoyable...if they do that and still dont, then ok, the game just isnt for you, and that's cool....

rares should give you anywhere between 10-15 light...and whatever it says initially, if you upgrade it, it usually adds 2 to that number....

just looked at the flier for upcoming events, you right, it's not till oct....that gives people a lil more time to get they shyt up...

i know cats probably saying the iron banner not like that, why he hyping it....i'm not trying to hype it up, just saying it's a completely different ballgame in that mp arena....if you got in during the beta, you know what i'm talking about...if you didnt, you'll see...

Weren't you praising Diablo III as a must cop on XBone?

A game with a short lackluster story mode where you grind endlessly through the same boss fights just for the sake of better gear to fight more difficult versions of those same bosses?


Not defending Destiny, I do like it, although there is no arguing it's repetitive.

But I just think it's funny this criticism doesn't get thrown on Borderlands or Diablo when it's virtually the same thing.

You may prefer the the controls and gameplay aspects specific to Diablo, but you laughing at people for enjoying a 'lame' mechanic that you enjoy in other games yourself.

Both borderland and Diablo infinitely more fun. With both having a more engaging story, better graphics, cooler characters, better multiplayer experience, and just all around better games.

Sorry, breh. Destiny just isn't that fun to most people. I'm sure it will have a nice niche community of supporters. Mostly filled with nerds...
