Another thing I can see people struggling with is getting similar gear and then dismantling it without checking if the Light is higher than what they already have.

yep, they not reading the info on shyt....people probably take the shyt at face value and be like this is less than what i have on, instead of considering the attributes go up when you level shyt up, so it might end up being more than what they currently have....

The only thing preventing me from going up is actually upgrading the armor. Once you get Legendary/Exotic Armor, they make you get the minerals from specific planets to upgrade them. And since I rarely play Patrols, and I'm mostly in Crucible or doing Strikes it's hard to find the stuff I need to upgrade

I was like you... only crucible like 80% of the time.. but ive come to the realization if I want to be prepared to really get it in when iron banner starts I need to start doing patrols daily events... and maxing out vanguard, ascendants...

Once you have a silvered hushwind... i dont know if theres really much else your gonna get from pvp....

Ive gotten like 10 legendary engrams from the loot cave which is as addictive as cooked crack...

Oh yeah for those who dont know... every daily event on a different planet gives u an ascendant shard or energy which is vital to endgame... Do atleast some everyday

Props that public events site is clutch. I need to catch that devil walker public event to avoid running Devils Lair three times for the queens bounty :snoop:

Anyone that talks about being stuck at level 24 or watever.. and whining about how they cant find new armor...

I got no sympathy for you... you didnt even take the time to stop and realize you have to upgrade your armor to level up...

Ive youve been playing since launch you should have full crucible or vanguard legendary armor easily by now... if you dont get the queens armor its pretty much the same... and start getting ascendant shards and the pick ups from each planet like relic irons...

the path to level 27 is straightforward and easy as fukk... niccas never played an mmo in their life talking about the game has come to a halt... this is that lightwork

Bungie didn't do a good job at explaining the gear system in this game. And since the game brought in a lot of people from different types of gaming, you would think they would try explain how the system works a little bit better.

I'm a MMORPG and FPS vet and even for me if I hadn't looked online and saw how exactly the system worked I would be confused too because unless im mistaken NOWHERE in the game does it say upgrading your item will also give you more light on that item.

I've never felt the need to gather so much information from an outside source on a game since pokemon.

There is no reason why everything in the Destiny App isn't in the actual game. Stats, lore, clan information, etc. all should be accessible from the actual game.

You said it yourself, people are playing this game that have never played this type of game before. So you don't need a lot but a little explanation for some things would go a long way in this game.

Exactly. I don't know who's brilliant idea it was to put vital information to the game OUTSIDE of the damn game. Grimoire cards, information and stats etc. shyt is retarded.

it says this on the item if you look at the details of the item....

i agree, somethings could have been clarified, but a lot of the things people complaining about like light determining your level past 20, how to increase light/armor levels, getting better gear, etc. is just people being lazy and want their hands held through the game...cause a lot of the info they looking for and/or shyt they complaining about can be found in the game if they just read and play the game...

I doubt it has anything do to with being lazy though because people that play FPS and MMORPGs are usually putting in lots of man hours to achieve a goal and finding out the best way to do it, since both are very stat and goal oriented.

I don't agree with you on the hand held thing, now a days people actually don't want there hand held but when the games designs are poorly explained it forces people to assume and get frustrated with not being able to understand a concept or set of rules. It's like playing Megaman X without the first level, yeah you'll eventually figure everything out, but its going to be frustrating as hell.
