Doing bounties basically and if you have my luck all your hunts for ascendant shards only reward you with energy
yea, the shyt is fun as hell....not getting the materials you need to upgrade shyt, grinding for the other materials, and the pvp can be frustrating as hell, but the shyt is just fun to play....
a lot of grinding lol.....here are some ways:
1. bounties for exp...make sure you have whatever weapon/gear you want the exp points to go to equipped before you turn it in..i've wasted plenty of exp points by not double checking that
2. making sure to use the weapon i'm upgrading when doing missions to get those exp points
3. xur has exp boosters that helps like a muthafukka....they last for 30 mins for whatever weapon type it's for..
4. using vanguard/crucible marks to buy weapons/gear i dont need just to break down...
5. doing strikes for exp and engram drops
6. do patrols for exp, materials, and public events...def check out that website for the times of the public events and make sure to do those...
...also, if you can, do the nightfall...that exp boost for the week helps a lot too....
Yup. Put it down to play Sunset Overdrive but been at it again cuz I need my fps fix. It's got some issues, but it has solid mechanics and some addictive features. The next update to the game looks like it's gonna address some of my issues with the game like the material gathering so if you're looking to cop I'd pull the trigger no pun intended
this was was a frustrating weekend. I only had a few hours to play Saturday evening, and was trying to get enough strange coins to get a chest armor from xur. Did the lvl 28 weekly and ended up with 12 strange coins. Spent the next couple of hours trying to get one damn strange coin. Went through like 8+ blue engram and got nothing. I was like fukk it and gave up.
Did yall finish the raid? Sorry I couldn't join, I was switching between Football and Destiny (with bouts of random inactivity) so I was stuck playing my 2nd character.
Anyone on PS4 still aint do the Weekly/Nightfall and wanna help a brother out?

Ran with a group of people that had never ran it and we made it from the gate opener to aetheon. If anyone on xb1 wants to run I have the aetheon checkpoint on normal.

Destiny is so beastly man I fukking love this damm game.
Last night we did the raid on normal.
I.got the multi and suros.
2 weeks ago I grinded for 14 hours to buy the suros but I ended up 1 coin short.
I was so fukking sad young real shyt. I only had one character at the time so i had to grind for them coins.
Real talk I feel better earning the suros in the raid.
Man you gotta love this game even with the rng.
The nikkas I run with are top notch and make me love this game. To the coli brehs who ever been in a party chat with us yall know how we roll

Destiny developer Bungie updated the game today, bringing it up to version 1.0.3 with a massive patch that adds fan-requested features such as a beta for voice chat in matchmaking.
Players are reporting that the patch weighs in at 2.44 GB, and that the required update is kicking them out of active sessions so the game can download and install the package.
As Bungie mentioned last week, the 1.0.3 patch is the first in a series of updates coming in the lead-up to the Dec. 9 release of Destiny's first expansion, The Dark Below. The most notable feature in today's patch is the addition of an opt-in voice channel for team chat during matchmade strikes and Crucible rounds. Bungie also doubled the number of bounty slots from five to 10 with the update, and gave players the ability to preview emblems and armor shaders.
In addition, the update changes the nature of Destiny's Iron Banner: Fireteam leaders must now be at least at level 20, and players will need to be within three levels of opponents to be competitive. In addition, players below level 20 will need to accompany a Fireteam leader in order to enter. Bungie noted that the next Iron Banner event is going live at some point in the future, not today.
Other tweaks in the 1.0.3 update include a 10-15 percent increase in the incidence of public events, the addition of descriptions for skull modifiers to the Navigation Mode screen, and the usual host of fixes for bugs and exploits. For more details, check out Bungie's full patch notes.
