Any tips guys before playing?

I think I'll start maxing out more of these Legendary Weapons that I have... I only have 1 Exotic Shard so I can't even upgrade many of the Exotic weapons I have, but shyt, after getting my ass kicked in that Weekly last night I realized that I need to max out some shyt for every kind of encounter I come across.

Only Arc Sniper I have is the Final Boss... I haven't used it in a minute but I had to upgrade it some to deal out the most damage possible on that Will of Crota Strike

What kind of shields were they sportin? The Usual Void or Solar?

Void shields galore! Wasnt really the shields that were the issue, but the volume of adds that keep spawning as the Undying Mind is just raining down on you. Give it a try on 20 and see what you think. Then imagine it on a Nightfall....it is loc.

I would say be patient. You won't start with good gear and will take a while to get to LvL 20 when the game really opens up and the gear drops increase greatly. (Quality, not necessarily quantity)

The MP can be played at any LvL and everything is leveled so you can go in there as a LvL 5 with shyt guns and you aren't penalized for it or getting rocked just cause someone else is LvL 27. It will come down to skill and my maxed out Exotic Hand Cannon Thorn is really no better than your LvL 16 hand cannon....just whoever can wield it better.

Once you hit LvL 20 it is all about getting the best armor and guns for the PvE modes and the Iron Banner, which is an MP arena where your gear and stats do matter. Better guns and armor win in the IB, theoretically.

It is a fun game, might seem tedious in the beginning, but as you play thru it, do all your bounties you can to speed up your leveling up, you will find yourself doing nightfalls and raids (where the best loot comes from) in no time.

If you on PS4, feel free to add me. I got a lower level Warlock I could run some missions with you on and help you get up to speed.

I started out using that, but it had no upgrades on it and I just went and pulled out a sniper to get more precise headshots on the boss.

I was using the Murmur and the Plan C when I started out the Strike. Then I switched to the Ice Breaker that's damage output is 291 for me, and because the ammo perk. But after not getting anywhere for a long ass time, I just equipped an Arc LMG and an Arc Sniper and just fell back and shot em down like that.

I used an arc sniper for the weekly/nightfall. The Supremecy from the Queens Bounty week. still my favourite sniper, one upgrade away from max and the shyt was doing work. most enemies only needed one headshot.

once I get my second character to 30 and max out that sniper, the second time thru wont be too difficult
