Yeah, but this thread is moot. No white women surf this forum.
This white woman in a white SUV was crossing over the middle line and riding it on a 4-lane highway. So, she's hogging up two lanes. I'm thinking she's drunk. I get closer, she's texting. She's in her 40s too. I almost just wanted to drive in the left lane just to get hit and then sue her. But, the accident would have also drove my insurance up even though it wasn't my fault so I just honked and drove by. Literally, she was still texting and swerving across the line after I passed.

I text and drive, I won't lie. But I'm an excellent driver. Not trying to toot my own horn but that is relevant. You have to know what's going to happen all around you 10 seconds ahead of time. That's for anyone on the road, not just texters. I'll look at my phone and quickly locate the letter I wanna type, 2 seconds later my eyes are back on the road and I can input the letter without looking at the phone. Simple for me, but again, I'm a good driver.

Gotta pay attention, that's all. Know what's going on around you and what will happen around you in the immediate future.

I still cosign this thread though because most people simply aren't good drivers.

See this is what I'm talking about. You have to know what's gonna happen 10 seconds ahead of time.

If I'm going to look down at a text, I'm first going to scan the road. Is there a car in front of me? Is there a safe distance between us? How fast is that car going in relation to my speed? What are the cars to my left and right doing? Do either of them look like they may want to abruptly jump into my lane?

All of these things need to be calculated. But most people neglect this stuff.
