Hmmm, I'd prefer a prequel with an emphasis on the Harkonnen and Atreides families for the previous 80 years with a build-up to the events of Dune. Bene Gesserits could still play a big part in that. I'm checking regardless though.

Based on the article & what I know from the books, this is going to touch heavily on House Harkonnen & Atredies. The witches were especially invested in these 2.

The "Command and Conquer" series of RTS games were based on the Dune II game. Tiberium=Spice, Harvesters=Spice miners, etc.

Finished the movie. 2nd half was much better than the first. Was disappointing to see they were just setting up a sequel or two so we don't get a full on movie just a set up. Not bad tho, had some nice scenes and visuals. I give it a 7/10.

Well, this is set over 21,000 years in the future. Paul might just be the closest English equivalent word for his name in Galach which is the primary language of the Imperium.
