When your in those situations and your defense has given up 30 points you have to go for the win. Settling for a field goal with 2 minutes left to tie up the game usually equals a lose. I would have run the ball a couple of times and even went for it on fourth down if there was still more than a minute and a half left on the clock and the other team had 2 timeouts remaining.

Yeah, he made a couple really "rookie coach" mistakes today. That was definitely one of them, shades of Andy Reid with him being in the red zone and not running the rock. I think sometimes we forget that Chip is still an NFL novice.

Also, I wonder if Shady DELIBERATELY had limited touches because he had so many last week....cause otherwise, it's inexplicable why we didn't run the rock enough today.

But damn our offense is ...if we can stay in the race until mid-year, (which doesn't seem hard given how ass the division is so far) hopefully these dudes can transform themselves to a "bend but don't break" type of unit, because THAT can still make the playoffs with THIS offense.

Let them kick a 53yd fg with 0:01 on the clock, miss = overtime / make = go home. Don't give them more plays by calling timeouts so your offense has 7secs from its own 35yd line. I know Chip believes in his system but No offensive system can do anything with that. Sometimes you gotta let it go Chip. Chip isn't a traditional-thinking coach tho, and that's gonna help more times than it hurts.

No you're not. Play calling should of been different in the red zone. But you are not going for it with a 4th and 10 when a field goal will tie it.
