NBA wants more drama and stories so it can earn more money.
For example Lin, was a scrub 2 years and suddenly breaks out into a "beast". If you actually watch some videos closely you can see they let him do some things, can't find the video atm, but there was a play where matt barnes could of easily blocked lin, he had already stretched out his arm but then suddenly pulled it back.
and do you seriously think that Howard is that (Please Use More Appropriate Word) that he can't make up his own mind to which team to play for? Dude is a grown man, no one could be that stupid and still earn millions.
Basketball is entertaiment and NBA is a business, do your math.
LeBron was prob. told to go on the Heat so he would be hated, NBA wants some villains, good guys(see OKC) simply so ratings could be higher and they get more money.
Pretty sure that Celtics will make the finals and OKC will beat them, and there will be suddenly all articles about OKC beating all recent champions (Dallas, Lakers, Spurs, Celtics, weird how it all pans out, and they beat Spurs thanks to refs) so they would be the face of the NBA.
Not bashing any fanbases or anything, not hating, just saying.
