I think this will change though. There aren't a whole lot of native Floridians down here. Most people come from the northeast (New York in particular) so their sports loyalties dont really lie with the local teams.

However, MY generation of native Floridians (18-25 yr olds, roughly) are all die-hard heat fans, and when we get older and are able to afford those tickets we'll be good.

New Yorkers really fukked up the sports scene down here though
