He's the perfect person for this message. There's nothing conservative about this bill. They used him as the face of government cuts to various federal programs and thousands of jobs, all so they could run up the deficit more and give rich people tax cuts.

Them people don't love Elon like that. He's got no pull with the actual Republican base other than the sycophants and goofballs he pays to fluff him on Twitter. The worst thing for him was Trump winning and him convincing himself that he "delivered" Pennsylvania by handing out oversize checks. Guy spent $25 mil and couldn't get a judge elected in Wisconsin.
