Why these nikkas half naked

Reminders me of that Frat episode in Atlanta.

Visually the show looks interesting. HBO's production quality on their more recent shows is top notch (Insecure, Barry, Chernobyl, Girls, True Detective etc). Plot so far is a little muddled. Narration is a tad too in your face. Thematically, the show is definitely a social commentary of today.

I'm not sure about all this nudity though...these are high schoolers

Yo! This is wild. I think HBO has a hit with this. It's a little superficial right now. But once they settle in the story lines it could get real good. Young people gonna eat this up.

Zendaya is actually quite well cast for the role. Her being a tall, skinny and slightly tom-boyish definitely makes her drug addicted character quite believable.

Overall enjoyed the episode. I thought zendaya was really good. Didn't mind her narration. Her description of how Valium made her feel is so accurate when you have an anxiety / panic disorder. Will be back for episode 2.
