Film just has a warmth to it. Just like records. They objectively sound better because they have to make them look/sound better because they have to get the first take right. The lower fidelity makes you focus more on the the take. Digital, you can fix everything in post.

You're right. that's trash. I'm pretty sure Love Life was 4K, but this isn't. and the last of us might not beNone of the purely “HBO” shows are in 4K. Strangely the “HBO Max” ones sometimes are
