I think for me it was because I didn't have any connection to any of the characters. Didn't really care if they all died.

I glanced at 1 review & it seem to indicate what I feared which is Rock isn't strong enough an actor to carry a lead drama role

now Fargo isn't solely a drama but you do need those acting chops for some of those moments & I don't think Chris has those. Also, his voice is recognizable so you can't help but hear and think the comedian rather than the character who he's playing

fukk the critics... I'll see for myself. Although since I binge watch my shows I'll have to stack a few episodes before I watch. So I'll definitely stay away from this thread for at least four episodes
