Yo this HunterxHunter game is dead on arrival :russ: . Playing the demo and :snoop:. The oversimplification of fighting games is getting fukking ridiculous auto combos do way too much damage. Got a button that automatically pushblocks, the throw is a dash I don't even know if you can tech the shyt. The button scheme is ass if you ain't playing on pad. They got a lil bit of the story mode and its just screens from the anime. You can switch characters for 1 meter on block and basically punish damn near any block string. I would have more patience for it if it had motion inputs. I don't think a fighting game needs more than 6 buttons.


Edit: I may have initially been a bit harsh but I still feel this won't last too long. On top of that if I was to get this it would have to be played on pad cause the control scheme is way too uncomfortable imo for stick/hitbox. Honestly needs more of a budget or make the game cheaper having this shyt be $30-40 will be a lot better for this game rather than $60

While I'm glad that there are more fighting games coming out now the oversimplification and removal of motion inputs is annoying as hell. I can't believe that having motion inputs is something that we actually have to hope to have in these new fighting games. I get that they want to make it easier for new people to play the games and blah blah blah and all that other shyt but fukk that shyt man. nikkas need to stop being bytches about that shyt and just fukking play the game mofukkas getting their feeling hurts cause they fukked up their fireball input. Guess what nikka practice until you get it right foh with that p*ssy ass shyt of "motion inputs are just arbitrary barriers to stop people from getting to the meat and potatoes of a game" Nah nikka all the pieces of the game matter, the execution, the strategy, all of it. Motion inputs add complexity as well as add more options for characters. We can look at how motion inputs go into a design of character just look at Ryu and Guile both have a fireball and an anti-air but function completely differently just based off their inputs. You lose nuance and complexity if you only have everything done with one button. If a game don't have motion inputs I don't want the shyt :camby:
