I get that nikkas are always gonna elevate Daigo but the problem is y'all end up ignoring nikkas that are better than him
If we're going from SF4 to now Tokido and Momochi have been far more consistent. Daigo got washed for half of SF5 and when he did get good at the game the best he got was 9th at Evo and a CPT win
And if we're talking GOAT, especially with multi games it's getting harder and harder to ignore Go1. He one of them onesKazunoko also an easy GOAT and nikkas don't even talk about him no more
Daigo getting so much more love than nikkas that are better than him shows how GOAT moment 37 was for marketing
Additionally x2 Guilty Gear XX Evo wins that he dominated 8-2 and 7-1 overall. When you consider the required execution in older games was higher and he was rated #1 for years where people knew him for the psychic DP’s during that time. The overall impact is why most people will consider him in the highest tiers. Then he comes on and smacks everyone the first 1.5 years of SF4 before the expansion.
sf4 takes way more skill to play then sf5&6 and the fact daigo was bussing ass in that game
he the goat sf player imo
At CEO this nikka won Fatal Fury and didn't even get to celebrate because he had a SF6 top 8 match to playYeah G01 is an Undisputed GOAT. Son won EVO in 2 different games from 2 different publishers![]()
input buffer is a complete game-changer tbh.Okay then why isnt he dominating in a easier game lol. Hate this argument
Competition is way harder now in everything
I hope you realize this is an argument for SF4 being the scrubbiestinput buffer is a complete game-changer tbh.![]()

shyt is skilled my guy. Gotta be able to input all that shyt. I miss option selectsI hope you realize this is an argument for SF4 being the scrubbiest
Option Select Fighter 4 has maybe the largest buffer windows of any fighting game everThis is why the SF4 romanticizing is hilarious because nikkas was having OS battles, buffering 4 different moves at once and playing it off as reactions
