Speaking of, I played Division 10 tonight and my god there are a lot of shytty players out there.

I'm still not great at this game, but people are out here just trying to sprint and pass it 35 yards on the ground. They're making me look like a professional :bryan:

If you play this game for 5 minutes, you realize right away you can't sprint forward or make those long ground passes anymore. And yet here they all are in Division 10 being stubborn as hell

I really love the buildup play, I'm still trying to stop myself from making dumb passes tho, I forget for a second hit one looking the wrong way and watch it go flying in the other direction :dead:

never played FUT, whats the big deal? I just stick to career mode and online.

Spend real life money for digital bragging rights...basically.

You can play your way to coins...but you'll be in the minority.

Its sports gaming's most simple and effective hustle. There's like 9 different versions of Messi and people spend thousands of bucks trying to get them.

I'd love to know the financials on Ultimate Team, how much it makes for them, etc. The last couple years I've probably spent a total of about $100 on Ultimate Team :/

Its huge money. In Fiscal 2015 EA made $2.2 Billion in Digital Revenue, and I'd guess that a decent chunk of that is Ultimate Team.

I spent $100 last week for the Release, I don't even want to know how much I've spent since 2010 :mjcry:

But I'll never stop. One of the few remaining "FUT Founder" accounts, can't believe its been over 5 years now.

I know a cat who literally budgets UT packs out of his check :snoop:

I mean take $50 here, $20 there, $100 there and you can get to a few million really quick. Not to mention the FUT Coin hustle game...

I gotta say, playing the computer in this game is frustrating as hell... Doesn't matter what difficulty, I'm playing a single player season, the first game is on semi-pro, great, I win the game like 5-0 but the only way I get the ball back seems to be when they fail to score their chances. How do I describe this? The computer's attack and possession is amazing, better than anyone I've seen online in division 7 but just don't score when they have a chance. Seems like there's no difference between semi-pro and world class other than them scoring every chance they're given on world class. Anyone else noticing this?

it's the same shyt on fifa 14... i played lots of seasons on that game (idk why) i was like on the sixth season, playing on WC and i was pretty good. Professional was to easy for me at that point, but i lost my saves (windows:mjlol:) Had to start all over again, i was struggling to beat teams at professional :comeon:. It seems it does not matter how good you are if the games wants you to lose you will lose. Thats the main diff between fifa and pes, in PES you feel the difference when you play against getafe and real madrid. In fifa you dont, most of the matches feel the same. Dont want to be a broken record and talk about scripting, but yeah. EA made the game like this because they know most gamers are masochists. If the game is to easy they will get bored rly quick

Crazy how many millions they made just by seeing how successful master league was for PES and just making a monetised version.

I hope whoever thought of the idea to copy it for EA is getting a cut

Play on Legendary. I was on World Class too, they play too safe and defensive. Legendary they actually try to attack, they won't just pass the ball around for 10 minutes.

It will be more difficult as they're gonna come at you the whole game, but if you defend well you will have plenty of the ball. I've had a few games in my career mode where I've had like 60% possession on Legendary, when on World Class the best I'd hope for is like 45.

I've actually seen that response on the reddit thread too for people saying World Class sucks... I'll give that a shot.

Great night of FIFA for me, Won division 7 on Ultimate Team, three wins (2-0, 5-0, 7-2) and two ties (both 1-1). I'm figuring out the attack in this game quite a bit, way better than I was initially and my defending is so much better. I love figuring out the little intricacies of FIFA games. I'll probably end up putting like 200 hours into this game.
