This is it and what other Canelo and Cotto fans are forgetting. Their fight makes them forced into deciding to face the mandatory GGG and GGG doesn't have to step aside again.
Canelo-Cotto can do a rematch or choose not to fight GGG, but it is all at the risk of being stripped of the belt. GGG gave them an exception for their fight with the intention they aren't getting a second.

Loeffler just said that after Canelo-Cotto they are going to give the winner the madated 15 days to decide if they want to fight GGG.

If Canelo gets that belt N says I need a tune up at 160 first or Cotto a rematch

We will see. So far the WBC says they are going to enforce the fight and Loeffler says they won't give in.
Technically Canelo-Cotto wasn't supposed to happen, but GGG took a payout to let the fight happen and for the WBC to enforce his mandatory.

By what has been said, that is what will happen. But then again, belt organizations have been known to be corrupt. In this case they may stick to it, I think they want GGG as a champ.
