This is very difficult. Might have to limit it to the films in my collection
this was ridiculously impossible for me. I can be indecisive as it is. plus i've seen so many old movies the past year for the imdb challenge that i loved. and so many great foreign films that i was too much for my brain to process.
not happy with this list but some you HAVE to include just for their influence. and some omissions/honorable left off just make me feel sick

I thought There Will Be Blood was good and all, but top 10?
I think its PTA's greatest achievement and in 100 years be looked at as a top 10; it will age better than any other movie in recent memory
i actually just saw it for the first time like 3 months ago and it really stuck with me.. incredible film
At first I would give it to Magnolia as his masterpiece, but There WIll Be Blood raised the bar too high; The Master is also amazing, but There WIll be Blood has that "Wow" factor that will have it being talked about over the next century

perfect ending in every single way possible. You should read the book, Oil! by one of my favorite Muckrakers in history, Upton Sinclair, to get a better sense of it, but it is indeed PERFECT.
