What a crazy tenure Dom Capers had in Green Bay. First, the Packers practically won a bidding war against several other teams to get his services. Then, he goes ahead and switches all the schemes, builds a damn good defense, wins a Super Bowl and earns a ton of credit for it. Then, the defense absolutely tanks. Worst in the league. And it didn't get much better after that point.

Oh, well. Happy trails to retirement, Dom.

That's gotta be pure :duck: ain't no way they get rid of him with how they looked with deshaun

I mean...I'm pretty sure their record wasn't good with Deshaun either

It's believable simply for the fact that in present-day pro sports it doesn't take much for a coach to be fired :manny:

What's wrong with obrien? Whys he on the hot seat?
The word is that he and GM Rick Smith have a "toxic" relationship. Texans gotta choose between the two at some point and Watson loves O'Brien ... and O'Brien would be immediately snatched up by another team if he hit the market.

Basically, anyone who says O'Brien is on the hot seat thinks the Texans will keep their GM over their head coach. From what I've read, though, it's not going to happen. O'Brien is safe.

The gm must be one confident mofo

After seeing obrien and watson for that awesome 5 game stretch I wouldn't fire obrien

That's just me though

I'm riding hiiiiiiiiiigh off this PSU win tonight. A Dom Capers firing would be a beautiful start to 2018. All I've seen so far is...

First, McCarthy must – and most likely will – part ways with defensive coordinator Dom Capers. ESPN, citing league sources, reported late Saturday night that Capers "is not expected to return next season."
