Yeah he is just a regular casual fan of other sports outside of football.
It kind of works for me, because he doesn't try to act like he is an expert, but he is opinionated and marginally informed in the barbershop level.
Like I like his ranking of Shaq behind Wilt, Bill, and Kareem and his reasoning.
