The biggest weapon in GOT has always been information, with how and when it's been used. Let's not act that Varys didn't have his Little Birds or Littlefinger didn't have his whores to give them information, that they used over people to achieve goals. So it's all in the game if Sansa getting info from Bran. Sansa lived with Cersei, she knows exactly what kind of person Cersei is and the bile she has for the North she didn't need Bran to tell her that.

Samwell is book smart, that's far different to being able to read people and maneuver around politically, especially with already established relationships, which is about playing on a person's ego/fears/weaknesses.

Let's not forget Sansa at the start of this journey wanted to be a down south Queen, knocking out royal children and couldn't wait to be free of the Starks and only thinking about herself, she's done a complete 180.

that's it, I don't know why people are acting like this doesn't apply to Sansa. Also as you have alluded to she's been around and seen shyt.

Fair points. I agree Samwell is a different type of smart as far as learning history and medicine. Like Arya is a different kind of smart as far as different practical skills like fighting and being stealth. It depends on their education. So yeah...Sansa is a different kind of smart. She kind of knows how to maneuver and play the game and use the people around her to get into a place of power. Power...which I think is the real biggest weapon. What's information without power. Ned Stark had factual information...but without Power he's headless. Thats why I get mad at Bran for not using his knowledge to make his house more powerful.

The context of Arya calling Sansa the smartest person makes sense. It came after Jon basically tried to shyt on Sansa by joking that she thinks she is smarter than everyone. Arya rebutted the statement as a defense of her family, which she now sees as her pack, and tells Jon as much with the “never forget that” line. Jon thought he could complain about Sansa with Arya the way they used to do as kids and was surprised to hear her offer any defense of her. But Arya was showing him that she ain’t rolling like that anymore after all they have been through. She wants Jon to be on their side.

That's true. I watched this episode again so now I get it why Sansa was very concerned about Jon. So basically, she doesn't want Jon turned into Robb 2.0. i.e., throwing everything away and screwing his own people over to get into the drawers of an attractive woman.

It was bad enough that he bent the knee without asking anybody about it, but let's say for the sake of the argument that he needed to do that to secure the army and the dragons.

The fact that she had sex with her only complicates things because now the question that Sansa asked is completely relevant, "Did you bend the knee to protect the north or because you love her? why even put himself in that position when he knows there is a massive war coming, couldn't he/they have waited a little longer just as to not rub it in everyone's face?

The north remembers that Rob lost the north when he decided to follow his heart rather than duty, who can blame them if they think that this is Rob 2.0 move? If they are mad about Jon bending the knee can you imagine what would their reaction be when they find out they are a couple and he is a Targaryen too?

My prediction for next week and beyond is the night king is getting murked in episode 2 or 3. Jon is 2 for 2 against white walkers and looking like he’s a HOF swordsman these days. Dany will probably lose most of her army and probably another dragon trying to deal with Viserion. The north is gonna get all the way fukked up too. They setup the fact that there’s gonna be a lot of in fighting after that so everyone is going to be divided.

Then they will turn around and the Golden Company, Lannister army and Iron Islands will be there waiting to run that fade.

I expect Cersei to have like 20 scorpions this time so Dany better not bring a dragon to that fight. From what I read about the golden company they are basically impossible to beat so it’s gonna be a slaughter. Cersei will be back in power and it will take something like Jamie killing her to end this shyt. :francis:

Yo. I would love that.
Im more into the politics than the religious sci fi dragon ice fight aspect of the show

I need the Night King explained and dealt with by episode 5 then lets focus on the internal beefs. I wanna see what f****ry Dany, Cersei, Sansa and Varys have up their sleeves and how far their willing to go. They all really want to rule.

Brans knowledge goes beyond titles, power and wealth. Anything to do with the Stark name and power that it held, died when he became the 3ER, he is only Brandon Stark in a physical form.

Aryas skill/smarts has always been her adaptability, from the very first ep. She's been Tomboy, Little Lady, prisoner, boy, servant, a companion, hostage, A Girl, student, beggar and now Arya Stark the Assassin.

So the episode after Dany confronts Sam about "justifiably" killing his father, she comes face to face with the man who killed her father, who everyone has admitted was mad.

Dis gon' be good. :sas1:

:laff: Yoooo! I couldn't stop laughing at the final scene. Jaime came all the way from the south thinking he on a peace corps mission like:youngsabo: then the first thing he sees is Bran :why: and you can tell he's thinking he should have never volunteered in the first place. He gonna be doing a lot of :whoa: and juelzing just so he doesn't get the neck chop.

Testimony from Brienne and Tyrion gonna save his ass though. :wow:

I disagree. I think this is the moment where everyone learned that Jaime saved the people in Kings Landing. Remember, he never wanted to tell people the truth. He didn't care. But now I think he does. Mostly cause he'll die is he didn't tell Dany.

It hurts my soul to say this, but I think Bran's gonna be the one to save him. Maybe I'm making too much of the Hodor loop, but it feels like everything that happened up to that point had to happen. Jojen Reed had the sight and could see events that happened in the future, but before the door was held (he could see Killa Karl's death at Craster's Keep, he could see his own death or at least he knew he would not see Bran through the entire journey back south). Presently, Bran as the 3ER can see everything that's happened and everything is happening but he can't see the future.

I think Bran's gonna say that although it's fukked up Jamie pushed him out the window, the loop had to play out. Going forward, none of that matters. He can see all that Jamie has done, even privately, that supports his genuine redemption attempt.
