That he cares more about the Starks than Sansa does

but that shouldn't surprise anyone

:manny: You making up your own argument. Breh asked why Cersei would want elephants and I said why. I didn't say they would be effective against dragons.
Sorry, I didn't mean that to seem as if it was directed toward you lol. It was directed toward Cersei and her asinine belief that this all had any chance to work out in her favor :russ:

she told him common sense. amazing :francis: what an elite strategist

such a bold plan goes hand in hand with openly questioning him at every meeting while its obvious that the banners fall in behind him and only tolerate her as the secretary

even when she gets tools, she can't use them - they use her :dead:

yeah she can use her excellent horse counting skills for the future generations :mjlol: meanwhile cersei bought a whole army and on her third victory lap, dany took a whole country, and arya survived the worst of the world with nothing but a goon's mentality. I guess she's slightly better than Brienne but that's debatable.
And on top of that. Sansa wasn't on the battlefield. It's one thing to simply "say" that Rickon was "dead" as Sansa did when Ramsay wrote that letter. It's another thing to be out there on the battlefield and to see your brother a 40yrd dash away and not react all because he's "dead" and it's a trap. Folks in the GOT universe always act like there are simple solutions to these relatively complex issues, yet seem to always find themselves embroiled in fukkery of the highest order.

If it was common sense and Jon still got fooled by it, what does it say about Jon? :jbhmm:

Jon wanted to save his brother. Sansa wanted to retake Winterfell. Can’t blame Jon for it but Sansa been through it and understands Ramsey better. Jon ignoring Sansa’s input has been a lil annoying from Season 7 onwards. They forgave each other after BoB. A bit of inconsistency there.

Jon should’ve told the Northern Lords that Dany risked her life and Dragons to save him beyond the wall.

A marriage alliance seems like the natural conclusion to end these problems for the moment but after they deal with the NK the tension between them as to who the best leader would be should be a main plot point in the second half of this season.

Cersei said she'll deal with "whatever is left" of the white walkers after fighting the northeners as if that would be a lesser army not realizing that when ppl get killed they join the army of the dead so it would be way worse :mjlol:
Jon did tell her that. She's ignorant. He literally said every person who dies is another soldier added to the army of the dead. I'm convinced the maesters need to hand out dictionaries and thesauruses to all the lords in Westeros. Because I'm almost certain that a lot of the dumb shyt these people do is because they don't understand all the words the other person is saying in conversation.

Also confusing. For seven seasons, marriage is been at the root of all the political shyt in GOT. Yet here we are at the penultimate moment, and during that entire journey to Winterfell no one brought up the fact that if the two royals who are already smashing each other would be married, we avoid all this drama and uncertainty.

I blame lazy writing.

The other issue that bugged me about the dragon ride is that not only did they waste jon’s First ride on some inconsequential date bullshyt, the cgi on both dragon scenes was garbage. Isn’t the reason we waited 2 years for this season and got fewer episodes supposed to be because of the production quality that was supposed to be put into this? :dahell: absolutely no excuse for that crap ass cgi

Yeah that shyt was weak. I can only assume the next four/five episodes will be truly epic. I doubt they spent the money evenly per episode. This episode and the next are also about 20 minutes shorter than the last four.

I think that dragon ride was the single worst thing in the show's history outside of Season 5 Dorne. It is worse than the dumb moments from Beyond The Wall.

Jon riding a dragon was not supposed to be some hee hee cutie pie shyt......it really should have shook Dany to her core that he was able to do it.

It was the only bad moment of the episode, but it was unforgiveable

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Tyrion being upset that Jon was smashing Dany is :dead:

Even Jorah stepped aside everytime, what interaction did Tyrion have with her to believe anything was about to happen :dead:
Where did y'all get that he's mad tho? Off that weird look at the end of the season?

Because he's right here saying they cute and should get married in Ep 1.. He couldn't have been too mad about it to get over it that damn fast
